Shipping Methods
We ship all orders exclusively via FedEx. If you wish to use your FedEx account for shipping, please provide your account number when placing the order. Even if you use your account, the order will include shipping charges initially. These charges will be removed during processing, and a revised order confirmation will be emailed to you. Note that cold packaging fees will still apply for insulated shipments, with an additional cost of $20 for domestic, $30 for US and Mexico, and $40 for other international destinations.
Shipping Fees
For orders our flat rate shipping fees are as follows:
- Domestic: $75
- To US and Mexico: $100
- All other international orders: $250
Domestic orders are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight, while US, Mexico and International orders use FedEx Priority International (2–4 days in transit). For rushed shipping requests at an additional cost, please contact us. You will be informed promptly if any items are on backorder and the expected delay time.
Lot Allocation
Orders are generally filled on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) basis unless otherwise specified.
For products with a defined expiration date, a First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) policy may be implemented instead.
International Shipping, Customs, and Duties
To minimize delivery delays for duty collection and customs clearance, especially for temperature-sensitive products, it is crucial that these are handled efficiently.
You are responsible for paying taxes and duties upon receipt. Providing a VAT number or exemption certificate during ordering can speed up the process. Please include contact details of the person responsible for customs payments in your organization.
Sona Nanotech are not liable for damage to temperature-sensitive products due to customs delays. Ensure that payment and paperwork are ready for the carrier before the scheduled delivery date.
Our products are shipped under HTS code 3822.19.0000, which is duty-free in Europe and many other countries. The Export Control Classification Number is EAR99. Our standard international shipping incoterms are EXW (Ex Works).
