The merger of Sona Nanotech and Stockport Exploration has moved a step closer this week, with the two companies confirming a “definitive agreement”.
The agreement will lead to Sona and Stockport becoming one amalgamated company, to be called Sona Nanotech Inc., within the next two months, and pave the way for a listing on the TSX Venture Exchange.
For Sona, this is an important step on our journey to becoming a key player in the life sciences sector, in particular, the diagnostic and healthcare markets.
Our unique products continue to attract attention and interest from investors across the world and we have recently agreed to a number of exciting partnerships and collaborations, which we will be in a position to reveal more details on soon.
We are also currently looking for a new business development manager and hope to employ up to five new members of staff in total by the end of the year.
As CEO it is my ambition to lead this company to new heights and to establish Sona Nanotech as a recognized and respected life sciences brand.
I want 2018 to be the year Sona gains the recognition it deserves for its dedication to innovation and its commitment to growth.
